Our goal with this video was to promote the benefits of the GROWS training programme and show the support for continued expansion of the project.

International Women’s Day Event Filming

By interview training participants and supporters immediately after the event we ensured we captured timely feelings of elation and excitement

Carefully considering the testimonials given by training participants, healthcare workers and supporters of the project we weaved an easy to follow narrative placing emphasis on important aspects of the project including…

  • The importance of the GROWS training programme
  • The information provided and how this empowered the participants.
  • Highlighting aspects of the training that the participants felt were especially helpful.
  • Participants learning from each other discussing their own thoughts and experiences
  • The desire and need to expand the project further

The Final GROWS Training Programme Promotional Video

We interviewed participants and project leaders then edited their thoughts on the project into an easy to understand narrative that captured the spirit of GROWS and highlighed the project leader’s hopes for the future

Social Media Information Videos

Prior to the event we also filmed and edited 12 short videos capturing inspiring advocates and healthcare professionals amplifying the voices of women growing older with HIV, covering important issues like ageing, menopause, gender-based violence and sexual pleasure.  These were used in a wider social media and HIV information and awareness campaign

We recorded some of the videos remotely to adapt to COVID-19 lockdown resrictions

Compilation Information Video Editing

For the culmination of the training at the GROWS International Women’s day event the project leaders wanted to show all of the social media videos unfortunatly time constraints on the day prevented this

To efficiently summarise the project we took some key messages from each social media video and edited them together in an inspiring narrative including information and messages of inspiration and hope

We also edited a slightly shorter version suitable for posting on social media as seen below,
