Promotional Video Objectives
We designed this video to promote the Lewisham Community Health Hub initiative and what NHS health services and support are available to visitors
The initiative aims to reduce health inequalities in the London Borough of Lewisham by providing a convenient and free one-stop-shop for multiple health checks and referrals to NHS doctors when needed
Showing Community Support in the Edited Video
We aimed to highlight how the Community Health Hub is a convenient and helpful initiative and emphasise the backing and support that community organisations have given it.
Editing Health Check Information
We included concise information from Doctors and support staff on the range of health checks available and included them addressing common concerns that the target communities can sometimes have when accessing NHS services, including test results, mental health concerns and immigration status issues
Community Enjoyment
The unique community feel of the Community Health Hub was important to highlight so we included singing and some of the zumba exercise activities that were held during the day
Support Service Interviews
As well as health checks we emphasised the support available from other organisations including Diabetes UK, Citizens Advice Lewisham, Therapy 4 Healing and Charities like the Africa Advocacy Foundation (AAF)
